Alum 1.33x Anamorphic adapter

Alum Anamorphic
Introducing the Alum Anamorphic.
A collaboration with Oscar from Panomicron
This experimental adapter will house glass optics inside an aluminium housing.
Oscar will be building 50 of the adapters, and I will be building the other 50. The adapters will come with a clamp-on attachment for 39mm thread filters. Files for clamp-on designs for 43 and 49 filters will be available to download and print (or get printed) , but to keep inventory manageable all adapters will come with 39mm as default.
Lenses in the 50-35mm range will work best. Going much longer or shorter you might not produce the best results.
This is an experimental project and would love for you to be part of our journey, if you want something a bit more polished, there’s plenty of great affordable anamorphic options for mirrorless cameras, and those might suit your needs better!
This adapter is aimed to cater to people mainly using rangefinders such as Leica M cameras, who want to have a bit of fun experimenting with some mild anamorphic shooting.

Experience seamless compatibility with your rangefinder. Simply attach to a lens of your choice, ranging between 35mm to 50mm, and you're ready to capture the moment.
Unleash the true brilliance of this lens within the focal distance of 3-5 meters. By adjusting the aperture to f4-f8, you'll witness a remarkable improvement in image quality, especially for subjects beyond 5 meters.
