Store Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Welcome to PPP Cameras. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through our online store at www.pppcameras.co.uk.

Please read them before placing an order. By purchasing from PPP Cameras, you agree to these terms, which do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

1. About Us

PPP Cameras is an independent photographic equipment business based in Birmingham, United Kingdom, specialising in refurbished analogue cameras, lenses, precision-made parts and photographic accessories.

For enquiries regarding orders, products or these terms, please contact us:

Email: info@pppcameras.co.uk
Website:

Our full business and contact details are available on our Contact page.

2. Products & Descriptions

We aim to describe all products accurately, including their condition, specifications and compatibility.

Our refurbished and pre-owned photographic equipment may show signs of previous use. Any significant cosmetic imperfections, known faults or limitations will be disclosed in the relevant product listing.

Due to the age and nature of vintage photographic equipment, minor cosmetic wear may be present and does not necessarily affect functionality.

Product photographs form part of the description where they show the actual item for sale. Images of replacement parts and accessories may be representative unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, specifications or pricing. If an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you to discuss the available options.

3. Orders & Availability

All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that it has been accepted for fulfilment.

If an ordered product is unavailable, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and offer an appropriate alternative or a full refund.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a genuine pricing error, suspected fraud or another legitimate reason. Where payment has already been received for an order we cannot fulfil, we will issue a refund.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP), unless otherwise indicated.

Applicable taxes are included in the displayed price where required. Delivery charges and any additional costs will be shown before checkout.

Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods accepted through our website.

For international orders, import duties, customs charges and local taxes may apply. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these are the customer's responsibility.

5. Order Processing & Delivery

Orders are normally processed Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

We aim to dispatch available products promptly, typically within two working days of cleared payment. Products made or prepared to order may require additional processing time, which will be communicated where applicable.

Available shipping options, delivery estimates and costs are provided at checkout and on our Shipping & Delivery page.

Once an order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided where available.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless expressly agreed. We remain responsible for delivering goods in accordance with applicable consumer law.

If an order arrives damaged, is missing or is significantly delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.

6. Returns & Cancellations

For most goods purchased online, customers have the legal right to cancel their purchase without giving a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within 14 days after receiving your goods. You then have a further 14 days to return them.

To begin a return, please contact us at info@pppcameras.co.uk with your order number.

Customers may inspect goods as they would in a physical shop. If an item has been handled beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, a deduction for diminished value may apply.

For change-of-mind cancellations, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods, provided this was communicated before purchase.

We will refund eligible payments, including the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option where required by law. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within the applicable legal time limits.

Certain goods, including items genuinely made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised, may be exempt from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right. Any applicable exemption will be explained before purchase.

These cancellation rights are separate from your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds page for further information.

7. Faulty Goods & Consumer Rights

All goods sold by PPP Cameras must meet the standards required by applicable UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If an item is faulty, not as described or does not meet the required standard, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction, depending on the circumstances.

These rights apply to both new and pre-owned equipment, taking account of the item's age, price, description and condition.

Any faults or limitations clearly disclosed before purchase will be taken into account when assessing a claim.

Please contact us if you experience a problem with a purchase. We will assess the issue and work towards an appropriate resolution in accordance with your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory consumer rights.

8. Camera Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, cameras sold by PPP Cameras include a three-month commercial warranty beginning on the date of delivery.

This warranty covers qualifying faults arising during normal, intended use.

It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, liquid damage, unauthorised alterations or damage caused by improper handling after delivery.

Normal cosmetic wear and any defects expressly disclosed before purchase are not covered as new faults under the warranty.

If you experience a problem during the warranty period, please contact us with your order details and a description of the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a repair, replacement or another appropriate remedy.

This commercial warranty is provided in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory consumer rights.

9. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

Some products may be manufactured, prepared or customised following an order.

Estimated production times will be communicated where appropriate.

Products genuinely made to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may not qualify for the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.

However, selecting an option from our standard product range does not automatically make an item exempt from cancellation rights.

Custom and made-to-order goods remain subject to applicable statutory rights if they are faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

10. International Orders

We may offer international shipping to selected destinations.

Shipping availability, rates and delivery options are subject to change and will be confirmed through our website or checkout.

International orders may be subject to customs procedures, import duties and local taxes.

Customers are responsible for any applicable import charges not expressly included in the order total.

International customers should also check whether products can lawfully be imported into their destination country.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Website Content & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original photographs, product designs, written content, illustrations and other materials created by PPP Cameras are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Our original content must not be reproduced, distributed or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, product names and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external websites and services.

These links are provided for convenience or information. PPP Cameras does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their independent content or practices.

13. Events Beyond Our Control

Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil an order or meet an estimated delivery date.

Where this happens, we will communicate with affected customers and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption.

Your statutory rights, including any applicable rights concerning delayed or failed delivery, remain unaffected.

14. Privacy & Personal Information

We process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

Personal information provided during checkout is used for legitimate business purposes, including processing orders, arranging delivery and providing customer support.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our business, services or applicable law.

The terms applicable to an order will normally be those provided when the order was placed. Changes will not retrospectively remove existing contractual or statutory rights.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protections applicable to them.
