FAQs

How do i send my film?

Simply pop your film in the post to us with your order number and we will do the rest

what do I include in the parcel?

you must include your film and your order number inside the parcel so we can identify its yours

Is return postage included ?

return postage of your negatives is included. Once your film has been processed we will place them into negative sleeves and send back to you in the post via royal mail

how will I receive my scans?

scans will be sent via email using Wetransfer to ensure you receive the files at there highest resolution. The WeTransfer link that will be sent will be active for 30days to ensure you have enough time to download them

what’s the turn around time?

Once we receive your film it will take 2-3days for dev only, 3-4 days for development + scan. For development + scan + prints 4-5 days

Do you offer push and pull processing?

At the moment we do not offer this service however it is something we are looking to expand to be able to do in the future

what’s the best resolution to scan my negatives at?

Low res is best for social media and 6x4 prints.

Medium res is best for websites and prints up to A4.

High res is best for making prints up to A3 and for showcasing your work on websites that accept large files.

High res TIFFs is best for capturing as much information and detail as possible. You can draw the most out of these files using Photoshop to personally edit the look and feel your after. TIFF is a 'lossless' format so there is no compression applied to your files. This means you can print up to A2 and is perfect for exhibitions use

what are the file sizes offered?

Low Res 1500 x 1024 pixels <1MB

Med Res 3637 x 2433 pixels 1-2 MB

High Res 5444 x 3648 pixels 4-5 MB

High Res TIFFs 5444 x 3648 pixels 30-60 MB
