Limitation of Liability – Negatives, Files & Materials
We are unable to determine the value of original or unprocessed film submitted by customers, and our processing fees do not reflect unlimited liability. While we take every reasonable precaution when handling customer property, including film and originals, PPP Cameras and PPP Film Lab accept liability only up to the replacement value of the materials provided.
All items are accepted on the understanding that their value does not exceed the current retail price of equivalent new materials. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special losses, regardless of how they occur.
Customers may choose to arrange their own insurance to cover items both in transit and while in our possession. By sending materials via postal or courier services, customers acknowledge the associated risks and accept responsibility for arranging appropriate cover or alternative delivery methods if required.
Delivery & Dispatch
Orders are typically dispatched using a 48-hour Royal Mail service. While this is a standard service, delivery usually takes 2–3 working days.
Once an order has been handed to a third-party delivery provider, we cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses. Where possible, we will attempt to replace missing prints if they have not arrived within 30 days of dispatch, but this is not guaranteed.
We will always try to assist in tracking deliveries; however, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place to receive parcels. This includes making sure someone is available at the delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for items accepted by someone other than the intended recipient, particularly at shared addresses.
Please note that we are unable to insure negatives, slides, or digital files. Customers are solely responsible for arranging independent insurance cover if required.
Turnaround times for processing, printing, and dispatch are estimates and may vary depending on workload. If you are working to a deadline, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to help, though we cannot guarantee completion within specific timeframes. We reserve the right to adjust service times and are not liable for any losses resulting from delays.
Customer Deliveries to PPP Cameras
Any items sent to us by post or courier are done so at the customer’s own risk. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct postage is paid and that a secure, reliable delivery method is used.
We are not responsible for items that fail to arrive and are unable to liaise with delivery providers on the customer’s behalf. By choosing a delivery service, the customer accepts full responsibility for that choice.
In the event of a dispute regarding delivery, valid proof of delivery will be required before any further investigation or action can take place.
Refund Policy
If we are unable to complete part of an order, a refund will be issued for the unfulfilled portion.
We do not offer refunds for orders that are delayed or lost in transit. All refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
